Before we get started…

We want to make sure that this is right for all of us. Please note the following guidelines

  • The New Client Form must be filled out for each dog prior to booking an assessment or program. All dogs over 6 months require a training assessment in order to choose to best program for your dog.

  • All fees and payments must be made at least 36 hours prior to the assessment and subsequently, prior to the start of the training program.

  • Dogs must be up to date on their vaccines. (You can always call your vet to double check if you are unsure.)

  • A majority of the training is conducted outdoors, therefore weather(heat/cold/lightning/wind) may dictate the need for rescheduling. I like to work through the rain and snow so come dressed for the weather.

  • Bring lots of food and/or treats! Training should be fun, so we will use a lot! You can find a link to my favorite treat pouch Here

  • Because I adjust my programs according to the dog’s needs, we may cover a variety of different things during one session. If we cover a lot of different things, I will try to do a summary of what the most important things are to focus on for that week.

  • I work from my home on the east side of Red Deer, Alberta, please ensure you are able to transport yourself and your dog each week. I occasionally travel to my client’s homes, but only under specific circumstances.

  • After a training program is completed, clients are welcome to join monthly group walks to continue with their dog’s training and healthy socialization. Click here to view my private Facebook group and request to join If you are a past or present client!

  • I am happy to refer to different trainer if your dog is aggressive towards humans or has more severe behavioral issues. I know my limits and won’t give you false hopes that I can correct all challenges.

  • If you are sick in any way lessons must be cancelled or postponed. This is to protect my family and yours.

  • Don’t be afraid to ask questions!

Come to have fun!
